The next Pokemon Go Community Day event will take place on May 19, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.
During this event, Bounsweet will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will have the chance to encounter Shiny Bounsweet.
Bounsweet is a Grass-type Pokemon from the seventh generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Bounsweet into Steenee using 25 Bounsweet Candy, and then evolve Steenee into Tsareena using 100 Bounsweet Candy.
Each time players evolve Steenee into Tsareena during this event or during the five hours immediately following it, Tsareena will learn the move High Jump Kick.
The following bonuses and features will be active during the May Community Day event:
Two additional bonuses will be active from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time on May 19, 2024:
Players will have the option to spend PokeCoins and/or real money to access additional content during this event.
Specifically, players will be able to spend $1 on a ticket that will give them access to a Special Research storyline on Community Day.
Players will also have the option to spend $4.99 on an Ultra Community Day Box on the Pokemon Go Web Store containing the Special Research story ticket, 10 Ultra Balls, and an Elite Charged TM.
Players will have the option to spend 480 PokeCoins in the in-game store on a Community Day bundle containing 30 Ultra Balls, one incense, three Super Incubators, and a Lure Module.
Finally, players will have the option to spend 1,350 PokeCoins in the in-game store on a Community Day bundle containing 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, an Elite Charged TM, and five Lucky Eggs.
Once this Community Day event is over, Steenee will appear in Tier-4 Raids from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time on May 19, 2024. When players defeat Steenee in one of these Raids, Bounsweet will appear around the Gym that hosted the Raid for 30 minutes. You can learn more about these Tier-4 Raids on the Pokemon Go website.
