The Verdant Wonders event is coming soon to Pokemon Go!
The Verdant Wonders event will run from March 21, 2024 at 10 a.m. local time until March 25, 2024 at 8 p.m. local time.
Once this event begins, Shiny Flabebe will become available to collect in Pokemon Go.
During this event, Bulbasaur, Oddish, Tangela, Hoppip, Poochyena, Nuzleaf, Shroomish, Cottonee wearing a flower crown, and Cutiefly will appear more frequently than normal in the wild.
Flabebe will also appear more frequently than normal in the wild during this event, with different Flabebe colors appearing in different regions around the world. Here’s the breakdown:
Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Zorua, White Flower Flabebe, and Orange Flower Flabebe will also have the chance to appear in the wild during this event, though the Pokemon Go website indicated they’ll be rarer than the other featured Pokemon. To be clear, White Flower Flabebe and Orange Flower Flabebe will have the chance to appear around the world during this event.
Players will be able to complete a Collection Challenge during this event to receive Stardust, experience points, and an encounter with Cottonee wearing a flower crown.
In addition, players will be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks to receive encounters with Vulpix, Poliwag, Marill, Slugma, Cottonee wearing a flower crown, Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour.
Players will be able to enter Pokemon in Showcases during this event for the chance to receive in-game rewards.
Finally, players will have the option to spend $7.99 on a ticket that will give them access to additional content during this event.
If players purchase the ticket, they’ll receive the Rogue of the Jungle Special Research storyline, which focuses on Zarude. As players complete these Special Research tasks, they’ll receive an encounter with Zarude, two Premium Battle Passes, six Silver Pinap Berries, five Rare Candies, one Incense, encounters with Dark-type and Grass-type Pokemon, and additional in-game rewards.
In addition, Panpour, Pansage, Pansear, Cutiefly, Cottonee wearing a flower crown, and Zorua will appear more frequently when ticket holders activate Incense during this event. Flabebe will also appear more frequently when ticket holders activate Incense during this event. The different colors of Flabebe will appear in the same regions around the world as those that appear in the wild during this event.
Finally, ticket holders will have the chance to encounter White Flower Flabebe and Orange Flower Flabebe when they activate Incense during this event, though the Pokemon Go website indicated these Pokemon will be rarer than the other Pokemon that will be attracted to Incense. White Flower Flabebe and Orange Flower Flabebe will have the chance to appear all around the world for when ticket holders activate Incense during this event.
