Players will have the chance to collect new Ultra Beasts.
The Ultra Space Wonders event is coming soon to Pokemon Go!
The Ultra Space Wonders event will run from May 23, 2024 at 10 a.m. local time until May 28, 2024 at 8 p.m. local time.
Once this event begins, Shiny Mareanie will become available to collect in Pokemon Go. In addition, once this event begins, players will be able to evolve Poipole into Naganadel using 200 Poipole Candy after they’ve caught 20 Dragon-type Pokemon with Poipole as their Buddy.
During this event, Ekans, Zubat, Tentacool, Koffing, Stunky, Croagunk, Trubbish, Skrelp, and Mareanie will appear more frequently than normal in the wild. Dratini may also appear in the wild during this event, though the Pokemon Go website indicated it will be rarer than the other featured Pokemon.
A variety of Pokemon will appear in Raids during this event:
Players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when they win Ultra Beast Raid battles during this event.
Players will be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks during this event to receive encounters with Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Trubbish, and Mareanie. Players may also receive encounters with Goomy and Jangmo-o when they complete event-themed Field Research tasks during this event, but the Pokemon Go website indicated they’ll be rarer than the other featured Pokemon encounters.
Once this Ultra Space Wonders event begins, the final portion of the “World of Wonders” Special Research will become available for players to complete.
Players will have the option to spend $5 to receive Timed Research tasks during this event. If players complete these Timed Research tasks before time runs out, they’ll receive four Premium Battle Passes, one Lucky Egg, encounters with Mareanie, a Naganadel Wings item for their avatar, and other in-game rewards.
Players will be able to complete event-themed Collection Challenges during this event to receive experience points and encounters with Mareanie. They’ll also be able to enter their Pokemon in PokeStop Showcases during this event.
During the Ultra Space Wonders event, players will have the option to spend $19.99 on an Ultra Raid Box on the Pokemon Go Web Store containing 25 Premium Battle Passes, three Remote Raid Passes, and 10 Rare Candies.
Finally, once this event begins, the Naganadel Jacket and Naganadel Pants avatar items will be added to the game’s Shop. These items will remain available even after this event ends.
