Trainers, as part of the Pokemon Go Tour: Johto event in Pokemon Go, ticket holders can complete 10 Collection Challenges to earn a variety of in-game rewards.
According to Serebii.net, the Special Collection Challenge asks players to catch seven Pokemon:
Players can technically encounter all of these Pokemon as they complete the Pokemon Go Tour: Johto Special Research tasks. For instance, players will receive an encounter with Hitmontop when they complete Part 7 of these Special Research tasks.
While an encounter with Smeargle isn’t technically a reward for completing the Pokemon Go Tour: Johto Special Research tasks, Serebii.net said players can encounter this Pokemon by taking a picture of a pocket monster using the game’s augmented reality camera.
Since Part 8 of the Pokemon Go Tour: Johto Special Research tasks asks players to earn three Hearts with their Buddy Pokemon, and players can earn a Heart by taking a picture of their Buddy, this should allow players to encounter Smeargle as they complete these Special Research tasks.
According to Serebii.net, if players complete this Collection Challenge, they’ll receive one Incense, 2,510 Stardust, and 2,510 experience points.
