Here's what these tasks ask you to do, and the rewards you'll receive for completing them.
Trainers, the final portion of the Throwback Challenge event has kicked off in Pokemon Go!
From June 3 at 1 p.m. local time until June 8 at 1 p.m. local time, Galarian Stunfisk will appear in the wild and in Raids. In addition, Pokemon from the Unova region will appear more frequently in the wild. Finally, Galarian Meowth, Galarian Zigzagoon, Galarian Darumaka, and Galarian Stunfisk will have the possibility to hatch from 7 km Eggs that are collected during this time.
As part of this event, players who completed all four sets of Throwback Challenge Timed Research tasks (based on the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh regions of the Pokemon universe) will be able to complete a new set of Throwback Challenge Champion Special Research tasks that reward them with Pokemon encounters and other in-game items. (If you didn’t complete the Timed Research tasks, you have the option to purchase a premium ticket to access a line of “Celebration” Research tasks with the same rewards.)
There are five sets of tasks to complete in the Throwback Challenge Champion Special Research. Here’s what they ask you to do.
Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Part 1
Rewards: An encounter with Galarian Meowth for completing the first task, an Incense for completing the second task, and 30 Ultra Balls for completing the third task; 500 Stardust, 500 experience points, and an encounter with Gothita when all three tasks are completed

Rewards: A Golden Razz Berry for completing the first task, an encounter with Snivy for completing the second task, and a Silver Pinap Berry for completing the third task; 500 Stardust, 500 experience points, and an encounter with Audino when all three tasks are completed

Rewards: 1 Charged TM, 1 Flash TM, and an encounter with Galarian Stunfisk for turning in the three tasks; 5 Rare Candy, Prof. Willow Glasses for your avatar, and an encounter with Genesect when you turn in all three tasks
