A Pokemon Air Adventures event is coming soon to Pokemon Go.
The Pokemon Air Adventures event will run from May 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. local time to May 8, 2022 at 8 p.m. local time.
During this event, Mega Latias and Mega Latios will be available to challenge in Mega Raids. Latias that are caught during this event will know the move Mist Ball, while Latios caught during this event will know the move Luster Purge.
In addition, Flying Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Meowth, Psyduck, Doduo, Magikarp, Wingull, Swablu, and Drifloon will have the chance to appear in the wild during this event. Charizard and Mantine will also have the chance to appear in the wild, but the Pokemon Go website indicated they’ll be rarer than the other featured Pokemon in this event.
Elsewhere, players will have the chance to hatch Togepi, Mantyke, Emolga, and Noibat from 7 km Eggs that are collected during this event. Eggs will hatch after walking half of the normal required distance if they’re placed into Incubators during this event.
During the Pokemon Air Adventures event, players will be able to complete Timed Research tasks that are focused on catching Pikachu and Flying-type Pokemon. If players complete this Timed Research before time runs out, they’ll receive 3,000 experience points, 50 Latias Mega Energy, 50 Latios Mega Energy, and an encounter with Flying Pikachu.
Players will also be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks during this event to receive encounters with Flying Pikachu, Doduo, Swablu, and Emolga.
Finally, Charizard, Lapras, and Togekiss will appear in Tier-3 Raids during this event. Plus, players will be able to purchase event-themed stickers from the in-game store.
