The device can be used while playing ‘Pokemon Go’ and ‘Pokemon Sleep.’
The Pokemon Go Plus + is now available in stores! This handy new device can be used alongside two free-to-play Pokemon mobile games: Pokemon Go and Pokemon Sleep. While Pokemon Go is available now, Pokemon Sleep will be released later in 2023.
The Pokemon Go Plus + will allow Pokemon Go players to automatically interact with in-game PokeStops and attempt to catch wild Pokemon with regular Poke Balls without interacting with the game on their smart device. That is, players aren’t required to tap any buttons or interact with their smart device – the Pokemon Go Plus + will handle these tasks automatically for them.
The Pokemon Go Plus + will only automatically throw regular Poke Balls at Pokemon in Pokemon Go. If players want to use Great Balls or Ultra Balls, they can make this selection in the Pokemon Go menu, and then press the button on the device to toss these balls at Pokemon.
Once players connect the Pokemon Go Plus + to Pokemon Go, they’ll receive a series of Special Research tasks that will allow them to encounter Snorlax wearing a nightcap.
Pokemon Sleep, meanwhile, will be released later in 2023. The game will allow players to track their real-world sleep and work with a character named Professor Neroli to research the sleep styles of different Pokemon.
The more players sleep in the real world, the larger the game’s Snorlax will become. In addition, during the day, the player’s helper Pokemon will collect berries that can be given to Snorlax.
Once players connect the Pokemon Go Plus + to Pokemon Sleep, they’ll be encouraged to place the device by their pillow before they go to sleep. The device will allow the game to track the player’s sleep habits each night it’s activated.
In addition, if players connect the Pokemon Go Plus + to Pokemon Go and interact with PokeStops in that game, they can connect the device to Pokemon Sleep at a later time to receive berries in Pokemon Sleep.
Finally, if players connect the Pokemon Go Plus + to Pokemon Sleep, Pikachu wearing a nightcap will appear in the game to help them raise Snorlax.
The Pokemon Go Plus + is now available for $54.99.
