Players can earn bonus experience points for a limited time.
The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on October 4, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Purrloin will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon.
Purrloin is a Dark-type Pokemon from the fifth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Purrloin into Liepard using 50 Purrloin Candy.
As of this writing, Shiny Purrloin is not available in Pokemon Go.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate a Lucky Egg to earn double the normal number of experience points for completing in-game actions for a limited time. This Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points for each Pokemon you evolve during this event.
