Earn bonus Pokemon Candy for a limited time!
Trainers, the final Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event for November 2020 will give you a chance to earn extra Pokemon Candy for the Pokemon you’ve already captured.
On November 24 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Barboach will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll earn two times the normal amount of Candy when you transfer Pokemon to Professor Willow. This means you’ll earn two Pokemon Candy for every Pokemon you transfer during this time, rather than one.
Barboach is a Water- and Ground-type Pokemon from Generation III of the Pokemon universe. It has a single evolution. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Barboach into Whiscash using 50 Barboach Candy.
If you want to make the most of this event, make sure to toss Pinap Berries at Pokemon before you capture them. That way, you can earn twice as many Pokemon Candy as you normally would for each capture and each transfer during this Spotlight Hour event.
Also keep in mind that Shiny Barboach does exist in Pokemon Go. While there’s no guarantee you’ll run into one during this Spotlight Hour event, you’ll be able to check quite a few Barboach in a short amount of time, so your chances of finding one will technically be increased.
While this is the last Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go for the month of November, we expect even more of these events will take place in December 2020 and beyond. Keep checking back with SuperParent, as we’ll make sure to bring you details about any future events that are coming to Pokemon Go!
