Players can receive extra Pokemon Candy for a limited time.
The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on November 22, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Petilil will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal number of Pokemon Candy when transferring Pokemon.
Petilil is a Grass-type Pokemon from the fifth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Petilil into Liligant using 50 Petilil Candy and a Sun Stone.
As of this writing, Shiny Petilil is not available in Pokemon Go.
To make the most of this week’s event, we recommend holding onto any unwanted Pokemon you capture between now and the beginning of the event. Then, during the event, you can transfer those unwanted Pokemon to earn more Pokemon Candy than you normally would.
Following this week’s Spotlight Hour event, one more of these events is scheduled to take place in November 2022. During the Spotlight Hour event on November 29, 2022, Hoothoot will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon.
