Players can earn extra Stardust for a limited time.
The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on May 21, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Elgyem will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.
Elgyem is a Psychic-type Pokemon from the fifth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Elgyem into Beheeyem using 50 Elgyem Candy.
Shiny Elgyem is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Elgyem is a light blue-gray color, while normal Elgyem is a light turquoise color.
To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Elgyem to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
You can also activate a Star Piece to increase the amount of Stardust you receive for a limited time. This Star Piece bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of Stardust for each Pokemon you capture during this event.
Following this week’s Spotlight Hour event, one more of these events is scheduled to take place in May 2024. During the Spotlight Hour event on May 28, 2024, Mareanie will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
