This event will feature multiple Pokemon.
The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on June 6, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, Clauncher, and Crabrawler will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive three times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
Here are some handy details about these Pokemon:
Krabby is a Water-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Krabby into Kingler using 50 Krabby Candy.
Shiny Krabby is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Krabby is yellow, rather than orange.
Kabuto is a Rock- and Water-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Kabuto into Kabutops using 50 Kabuto Candy.
Shiny Kabuto is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Kabuto is green, rather than brown.
Corphish is a Water-type Pokemon from the third generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Corphish into Crawdaunt using 50 Corphish Candy.
Shiny Corphish is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Corphish is a shade of pink, rather than red/orange.
Clauncher is a Water-type Pokemon from the sixth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Clauncher into Clawitzer using 50 Clauncher Candy.
Shiny Clauncher is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Clauncher is orange, rather than blue.
Finally, Crabrawler is a Fighting-type Pokemon from the seventh generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Crabrawler into Crabominable using 50 Crabrawler Candy when you’re near a PokeStop with an active Glacial Lure Module.
As of this writing shiny Crabrawler is not available in Pokemon Go.
To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Pokemon to encounter and more chances to potentially find Shiny ones.
Also remember that you can activate a Lucky Egg to double the number of experience points you receive when completing in-game actions for a limited time. This Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points for each Pokemon you capture during this event.
