Pokemon Go: How to Evolve Hisuian Sneasel Into Sneasler

In Pokemon Go, many Pokemon have a special requirement that must be fulfilled before they can evolve. For instance, in order to evolve Spritzee into Aromatisse, players will need to use an Incense while Spritzee is their Buddy Pokemon. Another Pokemon with a unique evolutionary requirement is Hisuian Sneasel.

Here’s how to evolve Hisuian Sneasel into Sneasler in Pokemon Go!

Before you can evolve Hisuian Sneasel into Sneasler, you’ll need to make Hisuian Sneasel your Buddy Pokemon and then walk 7 km with Hisuian Sneasel as your Buddy. After you complete this task, you’ll be able to evolve Hisuian Sneasel into Sneasler during the day using 100 Sneasel Candy.

When you tap on the Hisuian Sneasel you want to evolve in your Pokemon inventory, you’ll see the phrase “Adventure together to evolve” under the Pokemon’s “Evolve” button. When you tap this phrase, you’ll see how far you’ve walked with Hisuian Sneasel as your Buddy.

If you switch to another Buddy Pokemon before walking 7 km with Hisuian Sneasel, the game will keep track of your progress, allowing you to pick up where you left off the next time you make the same Hisuian Sneasel your Buddy. To be especially clear, you can only earn progress toward the 7 km walking requirement when Hisuian Sneasel is your active Buddy Pokemon.

Each time you want to evolve a Hisuian Sneasel into Sneasler, you’ll need to complete these same steps. That is, you’ll need to make each Hisuian Sneasel you want to evolve your Buddy Pokemon and then walk 7 km with each one before you can evolve them.
