Players can collect extra experience points for a limited time.
Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on February 21, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Jigglypuff will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon.
Jigglypuff is a Normal- and Fairy-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff using 50 Jigglypuff Candy.
Shiny Jigglypuff is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Jigglypuff has green eyes, rather than blue eyes.
To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Jigglypuff to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
In addition, if you plan on evolving lots of Pokemon during this event, you can consider activating a Lucky Egg to double the number of experience points you receive when completing in-game actions for a limited time. This Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience for each Pokemon you evolve during this event.
Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, one more of these events is scheduled to take place in February 2023. Slakoth will be featured during the Spotlight Hour event on February 28, 2023.
