Hello, Koffing!
Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on February 15, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Koffing will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
Koffing is a Poison-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you evolve Koffing into Weezing using 50 Koffing Candy.
Shiny Koffing is available in Pokemon Go.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Koffing to capture and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one. Keep in mind, however, that finding a Shiny Koffing won’t be guaranteed.
Also remember that you can activate a Lucky Egg to earn more experience points for completing in-game actions for a short time. The Lucky Egg bonus would stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points for each pocket monster you catch during this event.
Following this week’s Spotlight Hour, one more of these events is scheduled to take place in February 2022. Voltorb will be the featured Pokemon during the Spotlight Hour event on February 22.
