Players will have the chance to encounter lots of costumed Pokemon.
As spotted by Serebii.net, a Fashion Week 2023 event is coming soon to Pokemon Go.
The Fashion Week 2023 event will run from November 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. local time until November 19, 2023 at 8 p.m. local time.
Once this event begins, Shiny Gothita will become available to collect in Pokemon Go.
During this event, Pikachu wearing a summer hat, Diglett wearing a hat, Wooper wearing a hat, Croagunk wearing a hat, Gothita, female Frillish, Furfrou, and Mareanie will appear more frequently than normal in the wild. Players will also have the chance to find Absol wearing a costume and male Frillish in the wild during this event, though the Pokemon Go website indicated they’ll be rarer than the other featured Pokemon.
Players will be able to evolve Wooper wearing a hat into Quagsire wearing a hat.
Two in-game bonuses will be active during this event:
A selection of avatar items will be on sale during this event. Plus, once this event begins, the Gothitelle Top, Gothitelle Pants, Gothitelle Shoes, Reuniclus Top, Reuniclus Boots, Hooded Denim Jacket, and Denim Pants avatar items will be added to the game’s store.
A variety of Pokemon will appear in Raids during this event. Here’s the breakdown:
Pikchu wearing a summer hat, Wooper wearing a hat, Smoochum wearing a bow, Shinx wearing a hat, and Gothita will have the chance to hatch from 5 km Eggs that are collected during this event. According to the Pokemon Go website, “Gothita hatched from Eggs will have a greater chance of being a Shiny Pokémon than Gothita found in the wild.”
Elsewhere, players will be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks during this event to receive encounters with Butterfree wearing a costume, Diglett wearing a hat, Wooper wearing a hat, Kirlia wearing a costume, Shinx wearing a hat, and Blitzle wearing a costume.
Players will be able to complete a Collection Challenge during this event to receive experience points, Stardust, and an encounter with Dragonite wearing a costume. PokeStop Showcases will also be available featuring Gothita and Mareanie.
Finally, players will have the option to spend $2 on Timed Research tasks during this event. If players complete the Timed Research, they’ll receive two Premium Battle Passes and encounters with Pokemon wearing costumes.
