Players can earn extra Stardust for a limited time!
Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on December 6, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Wooper will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.
Wooper is a Water- and Ground-type Pokemon from the second generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Wooper into Quagsire using 50 Wooper Candy.
Shiny Wooper is available in Pokemon Go.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Wooper to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
In addition, you can activate a Star Piece to earn more Stardust for a limited time. This Star Piece bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of Stardust for each Pokemon you capture during this event.
