More details are coming soon.
Trainers, 2020 is almost over, but before we welcome the new year, there’s one more Community Day event to look forward to in Pokemon Go!
As you might have expected from previous year-end events, December’s Pokemon Go Community Day will be a celebration of all of the Community Day events that were held in 2020 (as well as 2019). While Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, has yet to reveal all of the details about this event, we do know a few things.
In a news post, Niantic said December’s Pokemon Go Community Day event will take place on December 12 and December 13. Across this two-day event, Niantic said “Pokémon featured in Community Day events throughout 2019 and 2020 will be appearing more frequently in the wild and in raids.”
As of this writing, Niantic hasn’t revealed whether or not the exclusive battle moves from these previous Community Day events will once again be available in December, but since that’s been the case in years past, we expect they’ll also be available next month. We’ll make sure to let you know either way.
As a reminder, here are all of the Pokemon that were featured in Community Day events in 2019 and 2020:
2019 – Totodile, Swinub, Treecko, Bagon, Torchic, Slakotch, Mudkip, Ralts, Turtwig, Trapinch, Chimchar
2020 – Piplup, Rhyhorn, Abra, Seedot, Weedle, Gastly, Magikarp, Porygon, Charmander, Electabuzz, Magmar
Keep checking back with SuperParent, as we’ll bring you more details about December’s Community Day event as they’re revealed!
