Players will be able to collect Primeape that know a special move.
A Go Battle Day: Mankey event is coming soon to Pokemon Go.
Go Battle Day: Mankey will take place on June 18, 2022 from 12 a.m. local time until 11:59 p.m. local time.
During this event, players will be able to complete up to 100 battles in the Go Battle League. The Master League and Fossil Cup will be active during this event.
Players will receive four times the normal amount of Stardust from “win rewards” in the Go Battle League during this event.
Players will also be able to complete Timed Research tasks during the Go Battle Day: Mankey event in order to earn experience points, Rare Candy, Bea-Style Gloves for their in-game avatar, and an Elite Charge TM.
Finally, from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. local time on June 18, Mankey will be featured in the Go Battle League.
On the Pokemon Go website, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, provided more details about this feature:
If players evolve Mankey during this three-hour period or during the two hours immediately following it, they’ll receive a Primeape that knows the move Cross Chop.
