The April 2024 Community Day Classic event is coming soon to Pokemon Go!
The April 2024 Community Day Classic event will take place on April 7, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.
During this event, Bagon will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will have the chance to encounter Shiny Bagon.
Bagon is a Dragon-type Pokemon from the third generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Bagon into Shelgon using 25 Bagon Candy and then evolve Shelgon into Salamence using 100 Bagon Candy.
Shiny Bagon is green, rather than light blue.
Each time Shelgon is evolved into Salamence during this event or during the two hours immediately following it, Salamence will learn the attack Outrage.
Four in-game bonuses will be active during this event:
Players will be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks during this event to receive Stardust, Great Balls, encounters with Bagon, and more in-game rewards. Players will also be able to enter Pokemon in Showcases at PokeStops during this event.
Finally, players will have a few ways to spend PokeCoins and/or real money during this event.
Specifically, players will be able to spend $1 on a ticket that will give them access to a Special Research storyline during this event.
Players will also be able to purchase two event bundles from the in-game store. One bundle will be priced at 1,350 PokeCoins and will contain 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, an Elite Charged TM, and five Lucky Eggs. The other bundle will be priced at 480 PokeCoins and will contain 30 Ultra Balls, an Incense, three Super Incubators, and a Lure Module.
