What a cutie!
Trainers, Build-A-Bear Workshop has expanded its Pokemon plushie collection with an exciting new addition: Scorbunny!
This Fire-type Pokemon is one of the three pocket monsters players can choose from when starting Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield on Nintendo Switch.
Pokemon fans can pick up the Scorbunny plushie on Build-A-Bear’s website in an “Online Exclusive Scorbunny Bundle” that costs $61. This bundle includes the 15 inch Scorbunny plushie, along with a Scorbunny Cape and Scorbunny Sleeper (pajamas) for the stuffed animal to wear. A 5-in-1 Scorbunny sound module will also be placed inside the Scorbunny plush so it can make sounds.
When shopping online, you can only buy Pokemon plushies in Build-A-Bear’s exclusive online bundles. That means you can’t purchase the Scorbunny plushie separately if you’re not interested in the other items in this bundle. However, you may be able to find this plush in a Build-A-Bear store near you, where it will cost $36 on its own.
Since Scorbunny is one of three starting Pokemon from Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, we hope this release means Build-A-Bear will also create plush versions of Grookey and Sobble, the other two starting Pokemon from those video games. We’ll make sure to let you know if that happens.
