Here's how to collect a free Poketch!
Early on in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, players will make their way to Jubilife City, where they can visit the Trainers’ School to drop off a package to their rival.
After players visit the Trainers’ School, they’ll meet the creator of the Poketch, or Pokemon Watch. The Poketch gives players access to a variety of different applications that they can use throughout the game.
The creator will give players a free Poketch on one condition: they must find three clowns.
The three clowns are found within Jubilife City, and each one will have a trivia question for players to answer. Once players answer each trivia question, they’ll receive one of three coupons.
After players have collected all three coupons, they can return to the Poketch inventor and exchange the coupons for a Poketch.
Check out our video guide below to see where the three clowns are located and the answers to their trivia questions, or keep reading for the details.
One clown can be found on the path behind the Poke Mart. He will ask players “Does a Pokémon grow by defeating others and gaining Exp. Points?” The answer to this trivia question is “Yes.”
Another clown is standing outside the Jubilife TV building. His trivia question is “Can a Pokémon hold an item?” The answer is “Yes.”
The final clown can be found to the left of the second clown, outside of The Poketch Company building. He’ll ask players “Just like Pokémon, do the moves of Pokémon also have types?” The answer to this question is “Yes.”
Once you have all three coupons, head back to the Poketch inventor and claim your free Poketch! Have fun!
