Players can complete walking and flower planting tasks to receive in-game rewards.
As part of Pikmin Bloom’s first anniversary celebration, a “Pikmin 3 Deluxe” event is coming soon to Pikmin Bloom. Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a video game that was released on Nintendo Switch in late 2020. You can learn more about Pikmin 3 Deluxe in our previous coverage.
The Pikmin 3 Deluxe event in Pikmin Bloom will be split into two parts.
To start, from November 15, 2022 until December 9, 2022, players will be able to complete three walking tasks in Pikmin Bloom to receive Badges featuring the main characters from Pikmin 3 Deluxe: Alph, Brittany, and Charlie.
According to the Pikmin Bloom website, the number of steps required to earn each Badge will increase with each Badge.
Then, from November 28, 2022 at midnight local time until December 9, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. local time, players will be able to complete three flower planting tasks to earn Gold Seedlings that will grow into “Koppaite Space Suit” Decor Pikmin.
There will be three Koppaite Space Suit Decor Pikmin available to collect during this event: Red, Blue, and Yellow. Each Gold Seedling players collect during this event will grow into a different color of Koppaite Space Suit Decor Pikmin. This means that if players complete all three flower planting tasks available during this event, they will be guaranteed to receive all three colors of Koppaite Space Suit Decor Pikmin (players won’t receive duplicates).
According to the Pikmin Bloom website, the difficulty of these flower planting tasks will increase with each task.
Finally, if Pikmin Bloom players have played Pikmin 3 Deluxe on Switch, they’ll be eligible to receive a free “Pikmin 3 Onion-Style Backpack” for their Mii in Pikmin Bloom.
In order to collect this free backpack, players will need to visit the My Nintendo Rewards website and login to the Nintendo Account that has played Pikmin 3 Deluxe. After they login, players can claim the free “Pikmin 3 Onion-Style Backpack Reward Code” reward to receive a code they can redeem on Niantic’s offer redemption website to actually receive the backpack in Pikmin Bloom (Niantic is the developer of Pikmin Bloom).
Players aren’t required to purchase or own Pikmin 3 Deluxe to receive this free backpack in Pikmin Bloom. Players can also download and play the free demo for Pikmin 3 Deluxe on Switch to be eligible to receive the Pikmin 3 Onion-Style Backpack in Pikmin Bloom.
If players want to claim this free backpack in Pikmin Bloom, they’ll need to play Pikmin 3 Deluxe on Switch (the demo or the full game) before December 9, 2022 in order to be eligible to receive it.
