Big flowers will turn into carnations!
Mother’s Day is May 8, and Pikmin Bloom is preparing to celebrate the occasion with a one-day Mother’s Day event.
Pikmin Bloom’s Mother’s Day event will take place all day on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
During this event, Big Flowers will become carnations when players plant regular red, yellow, blue, or white petals around them. In addition, the postcards players collect through Expeditions during this event will have a “Mother’s Day design.”
Next, players will receive one coin for every 250 flowers they plant during the Mother’s Day event. Typically, players receive one coin for every 500 flowers they plant. Players can earn a maximum of 60 coins per day.
Finally, in a Pikmin Bloom newsletter, Niantic, the developer of Pikmin Bloom, said, “On the day of the event, Carnation Petals will be available at about 63% less coins than the usual amount in the shop.”
