The game was originally released on GameCube in 2004.
Nintendo released Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on Switch. The game is a remake of the original Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which was released on GameCube way back in 2004.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a turn-based role-playing game that challenges players to help Mario and his allies recover the treasure behind the Thousand-Year Door before the evil X-Nauts can grab it first.
The game turns Mario into a flat piece of paper and allows players to unlock new abilities for Mario to use in combat over time. Plus, since Mario is made of paper, he will sometimes be folded into unique shapes, such as a paper airplane and a paper boat.
This Switch version of the game includes a number of updates when compared to the original GameCube release. For instance, the Switch version features updated graphics and an updated soundtrack.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is now available on Switch for $59.99. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
