A Monster High movie and animated series are coming soon.
Mattel will soon release a new line of Monster High dolls and playsets, which have been designed to represent “a wider array of body shapes and sizes.”
The 2022 Monster High Collection will have eight dolls to collect:
Each doll will come with clothing and accessories, as well as a small pet. For instance, the Lagoona Blue doll will include Lagoona’s fish, Neptuna, while the Cleo De Nile doll will include Cleo’s puppy, Tut.
The new Monster High dolls will be released on October 1, 2022 for $24.99 each. They have an age rating of 4+. While most of these dolls will be available at Walmart, Amazon, and Target, a few will be retailer exclusive. Specifically, Deuce Gorgon will only be available at Amazon, Toralei Stripe will only be available at Walmart, and Ghoulia Yelps will only be available at Target.
Two new Monster High playsets will also be released on October 1, 2022.
The Monster High Draculaura Gore-ganizer Playset is a makeup box that will include a Draculaura doll, as well as beauty-themed accessories like stickers, a comb, a compact mirror, and life-size hair clips for kids to wear in their hair. The playset is designed to store the doll when playtime is over. This playset will be available at Walmart, Amazon, and Target for $42.99. It has an age rating of 4+.
The Coffee Bean Cafe Lounge Playset includes 20 pieces that can be used to create three play areas. There are spots for five dolls to interact with the playset at once. This playset will be available at Walmart, Amazon, and Target for $42.99. It has an age rating of 4+.
In addition to releasing these new Monster High toys, Mattel will release a Monster High movie and animated series later in 2022. Specifically, Monster High: The Movie is a live-action movie musical that will be released on October 6, 2022, while the animated series, Monster High: The Series, will debut in fall 2022. The movie and animated series have been created in partnership with Nickelodeon.
