The camp will promote the topics of academics, athletics, health, nutrition, and faith.
The Langston Galloway Foundation, founded by Detroit Pistons player Langston Galloway and his wife, Sabrina, will host its fifth annual “Free Camp with Langston Galloway” on August 8.
While the foundation’s previous Free Camp events have taken place in the real world (in Baton Rouge, Louisiana), this year’s basketball camp will be a virtual experience due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Previous events have reportedly “helped over 500 youth in grades 5-12.”
This year’s Free Camp with Langston Galloway will be held from 10 a.m. ET to 1 p.m. ET on August 8. Viewers will be able to watch a workout session with Langston Galloway and Luke Copper, his personal trainer. In addition, they’ll hear from multiple guest speakers, including other NBA players, who will speak about the camp’s themes: “academics, athletics, health, nutrition, and faith.”
The camp will be streamed across three different Facebook pages (Langston Galloway’s official page, as well as the LG Kicks and LGKicks Gaming pages), the LG Kicks TV YouTube channel, and the lgkickstv Twitch channel.
