Enemies are automatically outlined when you're aiming at them.
Minecraft Dungeons recently launched on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game challenges you to explore dungeons full of enemies to defeat (like spiders, skeletons, and zombies), secrets to discover, and loot to collect.
The game features multiple accessibility options, which allow you to manage features such as Text to Speech and subtitles. You can also change the color of the outline that appears around enemies as you play.
This outline appears automatically on nearby enemies to let you know that you’re aiming at them. By default, the outline is red, but you have the ability to change this color to one of 10 other options if you want. Our guide will show you how!
Before we begin, please note that we took these screenshots in the Xbox One version of Minecraft Dungeons.
On the game’s main menu, press the button next to “Accessibility” in the bottom-right corner of the screen (on Xbox One, this is the “LT” button). This will open the game’s Accessibility menu. (You can also open the Accessibility menu while you’re in the middle of the game by opening the game’s menu, selecting “Settings,” and then choosing “Accessibility.”)
Move down to “Enemy Outline Color,” and then press left or right on the left analog stick to cycle through the available colors. You can choose from red, orange, yellow, gold, green, mint green, pink, magenta, purple, lavender, and white.
Once you’ve chosen your desired color, press the “Apply” button to save your changes (on Xbox One, this is the “X” button).
One of the great things about this feature is that you can change it again at any time. If you try a color like green or yellow and decide you’d like to try something else, you can simply repeat these steps to try all of the available colors until you find the one you like best.
