The Minecraft animated series will focus on a new storyline and introduce fans to all-new characters. The show will feature CG-animation and is being developed with WildBrain, the studio behind other Netflix series, such as Sonic Prime and Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
As of this writing, no launch date for the series has been revealed.
Mojang is celebrating Minecraft’s 15th anniversary in a big way. For instance, until the end of May 2024, players can claim a free Character Creator item for their Minecraft avatar from the Minecraft Marketplace.
