Kirby and the Forgotten Land is out now on Nintendo Switch!
Each standard level in this 3D platformer has multiple missions for players to complete. One of the missions in the “Windy, Freezing Seas” level asks players to “Find a cave that’s safe from the wind.”
Our guide will show you where to find this cave!
The cave can be found near the end of the first area in the Windy, Freezing Seas level. You can reach the entrance to the cave by turning left once you climb a ladder near the end of the area. The platform with the ladder is the same platform you can reach if you use Kirby’s “Pipe Mouth” ability to roll the large pipe off of a ramp to break the cracked wall nearby. We’ve marked the path that leads to the cave’s entrance with an arrow in our screenshot below.
Kirby isn’t strong enough to walk against the wind near the entrance to the cave, but you can use an ability like Kirby’s Needle ability to reach the entrance (this isn’t the only ability that works here). If you don’t enter the level with one of the necessary abilities equipped, there’s a pickup spot for the Needle ability behind the cracked wall you can destroy with the Pipe Mouth transformation. You can see this pickup spot in the screenshot below.
