Video game company Natsume released the first gameplay trailer for Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, the latest game in the long-running Harvest Moon franchise of farming games.
Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos takes players to the world of Anthos, where they’ll be asked to revive the Harvest Goddess and Harvest Sprites, as well as reconnect the villages throughout the land. You can watch the game’s new gameplay trailer below.
Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos will allow players to grow crops, take care of animals, go fishing, adopt pets, and more. Players will also be able to form relationships with the citizens of Anthos and marry one of the game’s 10 marriage candidates (there will be five bachelor and five bachelorette characters to choose from).
Natsume describes The Winds of Anthos as the first open-world game in the Harvest Moon franchise. As players explore the in-game world, they’ll be able to fast travel to different areas using Warp Statues. Players will also be able to travel to different locations on foot or by using a mount.
Finally, players will be able to take pictures and selfies as they play the game.
Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos will be released on Switch, PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles, and PC on September 26, 2023 for $49.99. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. If players pre-order the game from Amazon, they’ll receive the Harvest Moon 25th Anniversary Sleepytime Cow Plush as a pre-order bonus.
A Limited Edition version of Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos will be released by Natsume and NIS America for Switch, PlayStation consoles, and Xbox Series X for $84.99.
