Ten videos are available now.
Children’s media company GoNoodle partnered with America’s Test Kitchen Kids to create a video series that teaches kids about food and cooking while focusing on STEAM topics (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math).
To start, 10 videos are available to watch on the GoNoodle website and in GoNoodle’s video apps. Some of these videos feature easy recipes for kids, while others focus on questions like “What is Gluten?” and “What is Umami?” Additional content will be released during the 2022 “back to school” season.
In a press release, KC Estenson, CEO of GoNoodle, commented on these new videos:
“We are excited to share America’s Test Kitchen’s scientific know-how and culture of rigorous testing to create meaningful learning experiences for children, educators, and the GoNoodle community. We believe in the power of hands-on learning, and the importance of STEAM education. Like America’s Test Kitchen Kids, we believe cooking showcases the inherent connections between food and science. We feel like cooking engages kids with different interests and abilities, and builds a bridge for some kids that tend to learn more effectively in more abstract ways.”
Kids and parents can watch all 10 STEAM videos now on GoNoodle’s website. GoNoodle’s video applications are available on iOS, Apple TV, Android, Roku, and Amazon devices.
