Players can complete match-three puzzle levels to grow plants in gardens.
Garden Tails: Match and Grow is now available on Apple Arcade, Apple’s game subscription service that gives subscribers unlimited access to a curated selection of games for a single monthly price.
Garden Tails: Match and Grow is a match-three puzzle game that allows players to grow flowers and other plants in a series of gardens. Players will also be able to befriend talking animals, and new animals will come to live in their gardens as the gardens grow.
In each level of Garden Tails: Match and Grow, players will be challenged to complete one-or-more objectives before running out of moves. For instance, one level may ask players to collect a certain kind of flower symbol by using it in matches, while another level may ask players to collect carrots by making matches next to carrot symbols on the game board.
Players can create matches by swapping the locations of two touching symbols to create lines of three-or-more matching symbols. Players can also create lines of four-or-more matching symbols, as well as matches in T, L, or square shapes, to trigger the appearance of animal helpers on the board who can help them complete the current level.
After players complete a level, they’ll receive seeds and coins. Players can use seeds to purchase new plants and other items for their gardens, and they can use coins to purchase additional moves if they run out during a level. Players can also use coins to purchase additional power-ups that may help them complete levels.
Apple Arcade games aren’t allowed to contain advertisements or in-game purchases. This means players can’t purchase additional seeds or coins with real money. The only way they can collect seeds and currency is by playing the game.
Finally, in between levels, players can use the game’s camera feature to take pictures of their animal friends in their gardens. They can also tap on weeds that randomly grow in their gardens to collect extra coins.
Garden Tails: Match and Grow is now available on Apple Arcade. The game has an age rating of 4+. While Garden Tails: Match and Grow is a family-friendly game, the game doesn’t contain voice acting, so players will need to know how to read to follow along with the game’s story.
