Big Minecraft “Bedrock” Update Coming to Switch in June
If your kids play Minecraft on Switch, they’ll soon have access to achievements, cross-platform gameplay (so they can play with friends on other systems, except for PlayStation 4) and the Minecraft Marketplace, where they (you) can purchase character skins (costumes), worlds and more, all designed by other players.

Pokemon Go Fest Tickets Went On Sale and Quickly Sold Out
Tickets to this Summer’s Pokemon Go Fest went on sale today for $20… and then sold out about 30 minutes later. The lucky few who were able to grab a ticket will be able to walk around Chicago’s Grant Park and visit special “habitats” in order to collect Pokemon affiliated with those habitats. This year’s event will take place across two separate days — July 14 and 15 — but attendees will only be able to capture Pokemon in the habitats on one of the two days, even if they purchased tickets for both.
Last year’s Pokemon Go Fest suffered from major server and gameplay issues that ruined the experience for some attendees, but Pokemon Go’s developer, Niantic, said it would work on improving its events going forward. The developer has had a year to get it right, so we — and all Pokemon fans — certainly hope things turn out better this year
