The limited-time event will allow players to complete Quests and Bonus Goals to earn in-game rewards.
Chapter 3 Season 4 has kicked off in Fortnite, and to go along with the launch, the battle royale game is hosting a Reboot Rally event for a limited time.
Fortnite’s Reboot Rally event will run from September 19, 2022 at 9 a.m. ET until October 3, 2022 at 9 a.m. ET.
During this event, active Fortnite players will be encouraged to work together with returning and/or new Fortnite players to complete Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals. An “active player” is anyone who played Fortnite for more than two hours in the 30 days leading up to the launch of Chapter 3 Season 4, while a “returning” or “new” player is anyone who played Fortnite for less than two hours in the 30 days leading up to the launch of Chapter 3 Season 4.
During the Reboot Rally event, players will be able to view a “Reboot Rally” section in the game’s Lobby Sidebar to see the friends they can play with to complete tasks and earn rewards.
Specifically, while viewing the Reboot Rally section in the Lobby Sidebar, “active” players will see the new and returning friends they can team up with to complete Quests and Bonus Goals. New and returning players, meanwhile, will see their active friends, as well as other new and returning friends they can team up with to complete these Quests and Bonus Goals.
Active, new, and returning players can also share a QR code to encourage their friends to play the game with them.
As players complete Quests and Bonus Goals during this event, they’ll receive points. Players can earn up to four rewards during this event as they collect the required number of points:
