Players can unlock TMNT-themed rewards for a limited time.
The Cowabunga event has kicked off in Fortnite: Battle Royale. This event features the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The Cowabunga event runs until February 27, 2024 at 9 a.m. ET.
During the event, players will be able to find TMNT-themed Driftboards and Pizza Party boxes around the in-game island as they play. Each Pizza Party box contains eight slices of pizza, which can restore the player’s health and shield. Players can find Pizza Party boxes on the ground and inside Chests. They can also be purchased from Splinter with Bars.
Players will also be able to use TMNT-themed weapons during games. This includes Leonardo’s Katanas, Raphael’s Sai, Michelangelo’s Nunchaku, and Donatello’s Staff. Players can find these weapons in Chests, Supply Drops, and vending machines.
During the Cowabunga event, players will be able to complete quests to receive “Ooze.” The more Ooze players collect, the more progress they’ll make on the event’s Reward Track(s).
The Cowabunga event features six sets of quests to complete. The “Stick to the Shadows” quests are available as of this writing, and additional sets will go live throughout the month of February. The final quest set, called “Shellebrate,” will go live on February 24, 2024 at 9 a.m. ET.
Each time players complete five quests in a single set, they’ll receive that set’s “Krang Blueprint.” If players collect all six Krang Blueprints before the event ends, they’ll receive the Krang Back Bling.
The Cowabunga event will feature both a free Reward Track and a Premium Reward Track that can be purchased for 1,000 V-Bucks.
The free Reward Track features 11 prizes to collect, including the TMNT Pizza Back Bling, the Ooze Wrap, and the Turtle Blimp Glider.
The Premium Reward Track also features 11 prizes to collect, including the Shredder’s Steel Claws Pickaxe, the Super Shredder’s Cape Back Bling, and the Super Shredder Outfit. When players purchase the Premium Reward Track, they’ll also instantly receive the Shredder Outfit at no additional cost. Both the Super Shredder and Shredder Outfits include a Lego style for use in Lego Fortnite.
Finally, during the Cowabunga event, players will have the option to purchase the Splinter, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello, and April O’Neil Outfits. Each of these Outfits includes a Lego style for use in Lego Fortnite.
