Here's what you need to know about the newest season in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Chapter 2 – Season 3 has officially arrived in Fortnite: Battle Royale, and it brings with it lots of exciting changes to the game.
For one, the map has been flooded, and you can now get around by water skiing behind sharks. As the season progresses, the floodwaters will recede, revealing more areas for you to explore around the map.
In addition, this season also adds new enemies (Marauders) to the game for you to take on while playing.
As usual, this season comes with a new Battle Pass that you can purchase (though you don’t have to). Buying the Battle Pass will give you access to a new “Build-A-Brella” feature, which will allow you to build your own umbrella throughout the season. As you complete challenges and level up, you can customize the way your umbrella looks. The choices you make when creating your umbrella are permanent, so keep that in mind as you progress.
The Chapter 2 – Season 3 Battle Pass will also give you access to new outfits, including an Aquaman outfit inspired by the version of the superhero from the 2018 Aquaman film. You’ll also receive 1,500 V-Bucks (Fortnite’s premium currency), when you purchase this season’s Battle Pass.
