Help Psaro become a Monster Wrangler in this turn-based role-playing game (RPG).
Video game company Square Enix has released Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince on Nintendo Switch. The role-playing game (RPG) is the latest title in the popular Dragon Quest franchise.
In Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, players will help Psaro, the dark prince, become a Monster Wrangler. Players will be able to discover more than 500 unique monsters as they explore the in-game world, which they can recruit for Psaro’s team.
The game allows players to compete in turn-based monster battles using the creatures they’ve collected. Players can give their monsters specific commands during battles or allow them to battle automatically while focusing on a set tactic, such as “Show No Mercy” or “Focus on Healing.”
The game also features a synthesis system that allows players to combine multiple monsters to form new creatures.
In addition to single-player content, Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince features online modes that allow players to compete against other real people.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is now available on Switch for $59.99. The game is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB.
A Deluxe Edition of the game is also available for $85.99. It includes the base game of Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, as well as three downloadable content (DLC) packs, a Burgundy Gothic Vestment cosmetic item, a Warrior’s Ring, and 10 Beastie Bites.
The game’s DLC packs can also be downloaded separately. They range in price from $6-$10.
