Solve cases alongside Tim and his partner Pokemon, Detective Pikachu.
Detective Pikachu Returns is now available for Nintendo Switch. The game is the sequel to the original Detective Pikachu video game, which was released on Nintendo 3DS in North America in 2018.
Detective Pikachu Returns takes players to Ryme City, where they’ll help Tim Goodman and his talking partner Pokemon, Detective Pikachu, solve cases. Along the way, Tim and Pikachu will work to figure out what happened to Tim’s missing father, Harry.
While most humans can’t speak to Pokemon, Tim can understand Pikachu when he speaks. This helps the pair work together as Tim talks to the humans in Ryme City and Pikachu speaks to the Pokemon.
As players work to solve cases, they’ll be able to team up with several helper Pokemon, who each have special abilities. For instance, Growlithe has a great sense of smell that can help it track down clues, while Luxray can see through walls.
Detective Pikachu Returns is now available on Switch for $49.99. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
