New shoes and clothing are coming next year.
Apparel company Converse will celebrate Pokemon’s 25th anniversary with the release of footwear, apparel, and accessories inspired by the Kanto region of the Pokemon universe. (The Kanto region was featured in the first Pokemon video games.)
The Converse x Pokemon collection will offer shoes and clothing (like t-shirts and a hoodie) for both adults and children. These items will feature Pokemon like Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Bulbasaur, and Charmander, among others.
Through the Converse By You custom design experience, fans will also be able to create their own design of Pokemon Converse on the Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70 shoes.
Items in this collection will range in price from $30 – $75. In a press release, Converse said “custom pricing varies.”
The Converse x Pokemon collection will go on sale on Converse’s website and at “select retailers” on January 7, 2022.
