Pokemon Go: Legendary Raid Hours Are Coming Each Week in June

Cresselia and Kyogre Raids will appear in large numbers for a limited time.

Over the past few months, Pokemon Go has held “experimental Legendary Raid Hours,” which cause Tier 5 Raids to appear in greater numbers than normal for a single hour. If you enjoy participating in these kinds of events, we’ve got some good news: four Legendary Raid Hours will be held this month.

Throughout the month of June, Legendary Raid Hours will take place every Wednesday evening. Specifically, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, more Tier 5 Raids will appear than normal.

Two Legendary Pokemon will be featured in these events: Cresselia will star in the Legendary Raid Hours on June 5 and 12, while Kyogre will be featured in the Legendary Raid Hours on June 19 and 26. Even if you can’t make it out to play on these four dates, you’ll still have the chance to battle and capture Cresselia and Kyogre this month.

Cresselia is appearing in Legendary Raid battles until June 18 at 4 p.m. ET. After that point, Kyogre will begin appearing in Raids, and will stick around until June 27 at 4 p.m. ET.

There’s one more Pokemon that’s being featured in the game’s current Legendary Raid schedule: Groudon, which will appear in Raids from June 27 at 4 p.m. ET to July 10 at 4 p.m. ET. We wouldn’t be surprised if Groudon was the star of its own Legendary Raid Hours sometime in July. We’ll let you know if that’s the case.

While you’re planning for these Legendary Raid Hours, keep in mind a new in-game event also begins on June 4. Adventure Week 2019 will see Rock-type Pokemon appear more frequently in the wild, while Onix and other Rock-type Pokemon will also start appearing in Raids. To see everything Adventure Week 2019 has to offer, check out our complete look at this exciting event.
