Overcooked 2: A SuperParent First Look

Head into the kitchen in this family-friendly cooking game for up to four players.

Overcooked 2 is the sequel to the original Overcooked from 2016. Overcooked 2 takes players back to the Onion Kingdom (the setting from the first game) and challenges them to save the world by cooking dishes while overcoming a variety of obstacles.

In Overcooked 2, up to four players can team up to cook dishes and serve customers in wacky restaurants set in locations like a magic school, a mine, and an alien planet. Each kitchen comes with different challenges, like moving and rotating platforms. The game becomes more difficult over time, asking players to cook a growing variety of dishes, including things like sushi, burgers, and pizza.

Players can cook dishes by first preparing ingredients (for instance, chopping lettuce and cooking rice) and then combining them to form the dish each customer requests. Each level is timed, which can result in (hilarious) cooking chaos as players try to work together to quickly serve each guest.

Overcooked 2 is available for $24.99 on PC, Mac, Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can download the game digitally on any of these platforms, or purchase a physical version of the game for Switch, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One. Overcooked 2 is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
