The workshops are for students in grades 3-12.

March is Women’s History Month, and Microsoft Store is honoring the month-long event by offering free virtual field trips and workshops for kids and educators that will teach students about prominent female leaders, among other topics.

Beginning on International Women’s Day (March 8), Microsoft Store will host a series of virtual workshops for students in grades 3-12. The workshops have multiple topics, such as “Women in Business 100,” which will teach students about creating their own business, and “Create a Difference in Your World,” which will allow kids to learn about young philanthropists.

In addition to these workshops, Microsoft Store will add a new wing to its virtual Legacy Museum that highlights some of today’s prominent female leaders. This wing will go live on March 8. Microsoft’s Legacy Museum also features exhibits created in honor of Black History Month.

Finally, Microsoft Store and Flipgrid will host virtual field trips throughout March that celebrate women in STEM careers. These field trips have different recommended age groups, but most are appropreiate for kids 8+. Head over to Microsoft’s website to see all of the virtual field trips that will be available.
