JDRF Launched a Game on Roblox to Teach Players About Type 1 Diabetes

Players can explore a virtual walking track and complete mini-games.

JDRF, a company dedicated to ending type 1 diabetes, launched a new game called JDRF One World on the Roblox platform (Roblox is a social gaming platform that allows users to create and share their own games with the world).

Created in partnership with developer MelonDev, the JDRF One World game features a digital version of the JDRF One Walk experience (in 2020, real-world JDRF One Walk fundraising events were canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic).

Players can explore a virtual walking track, complete an obstacle course and a timed maze, participate in a scavenger hunt, compete in a trivia game, and more. They’ll also be able to chat with members of the JDRF team and learn about type 1 diabetes.

If players can successfully win all of the available mini-games in JDRF One World, they’ll earn access to a dance party in the game’s V1P tent.

While all of these features are available at launch, extra content will be added to the game in the future.

JDRF One World is available to play for free on Roblox. You can learn more about the game by visiting Roblox’s website.
