Pokemon Go Egg Changes: Emolga, Rufflet, Axew, and More

Check out the Pokemon that are now hatching from Eggs!

In early October, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, teased that some changes would soon be coming to the Egg pool in the free-to-play mobile game.

Now, these changes have officially gone into effect.

With the changing of the seasons, different kinds of Pokemon are now hatching from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs, as well as from Eggs that you receive from Adventure Sync rewards. Some of these Eggs may contain geo-locked Pokemon, like Volbeat and Illumise, but these particular pocket monsters will only be available to hatch in their regular regions.

Here are the Pokemon that are now appearing in 2 km Eggs:

  • Poliwag
  • Cubone
  • Magikarp
  • Mareep
  • Wooper
  • Snubbull
  • Volbeat
  • Illumise
  • Wailmer
  • Swablu
  • Buizel
  • Buneary
  • Snivy
  • Tepig
  • Oshawott
  • Minccino

Next, these are the Pokemon appearing in 5 km Eggs:

  • Machop
  • Farfetch’d
  • Seel
  • Voltorb
  • Lickitung
  • Kangaskhan
  • Tauros
  • Eevee
  • Pineco
  • Heracross
  • Corsola
  • Ralts
  • Aron
  • Torkoal
  • Feebas
  • Tropius

Remember, these Egg changes only apply to new Eggs that you collect following this update. If you still have older Eggs in your inventory, their contents were determined at the time of their collection.
