Pokemon Go: How to Evolve Kirlia
This pocket monster has two possible evolutions.
In Pokemon Go, there are a handful of Pokemon that evolve in unique ways. For instance, Combee can only be evolved if the pocket monster is female, while Eevee can be evolved in multiple ways (by giving the Pokemon a certain name, walking with Eevee before you evolve it, and so on).
Another Pokemon with a unique evolutionary path is Kirlia, a Psychic- and Fairy-type Pokemon from Generation III of the Pokemon universe.
Kirlia evolves from Ralts at a cost of 25 Ralts Candy. That process is straightforward. However, when you want to evolve Kirlia, the Pokemon's gender will be important. If Kirlia is female, it can only be evolved into Gardevoir (this costs 100 Ralts Candy). If Kirlia is male, it can be evolved into either Gardevoir or Gallade. To evolve male Kirlia into Gallade, you'll need 100 Ralts Candy and a Sinnoh Stone.
Thankfully, there’s no special trick to evolving male Kirlia into one Pokemon or the other. When viewing a male Kirlia’s page, you can simply choose which evolution button to press, depending on whether you want Gallade or Gardevoir for your collection.
