Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Find Dream Addresses

Here are a few places to check.

Wave 2 of the Summer Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons added the ability for players to visit other players’ islands in dreams, and share their own islands for others to visit. (You can learn more about the feature in our Dreaming Guide.)

However, before you can actually visit another player’s island, you’ll need their Dream Address. Similar to a Nintendo Switch friend code, each player has a unique Dream Address that you can enter to visit their island in a dream.

If you want to try out this dreaming feature, here are a few places to look for Dream Addresses.

Before we get to the list, keep in mind that there’s no guarantee you won’t run into offensive content when you visit another player’s island. For instance, a player may have given their animal friends a “mature” catchphrase, or they may have custom designs on their island that you don’t approve of. You have the ability to report any islands you visit in a dream, if you come across inappropriate content.

Twitter - Try searching for “Dream Address.” You’ll find a slew of Dream Addresses you can type in to visit a variety of islands. Many players have included pictures of their islands in their tweets, so you can see a preview of where you’ll go.

Reddit - This thread on the Animal Crossing subreddit allows users to share their Dream Addresses, as well as their friend and Dodo Codes (if they wish). You can find islands to visit in dreams, or maybe even for real!

Instagram - The “#dreamaddress” hashtag is filling up with screenshots of users’ Dream Addresses that you can type in when talking to Luna.

While you can also find Dream Addresses on other sites, these three locations should give you plenty of islands to visit now and well into the future.

Have fun!
