Pokemon Masters: Double Trouble Event Adds Team Rocket for a Limited Time

Complete this story event to receive a new Sync Pair.

Trainers, Pokemon Masters has been updated with a major new event that adds Team Rocket to the game (Team Rocket was also recently added to Pokemon Go).

In Pokemon Masters, Jessie, James, and Meowth are the stars of the new “Double Trouble” story event, which will allow you to help the trio on their search for a Shiny Celebi. This event will be available until September 16 at 10:59 p.m. PT, but you’ll need to have completed at least the first chapter of the game’s main story in order to access it.

If you can complete the Double Trouble storyline before time runs out, you’ll receive the sync pair of Jessie & Arbok for your team.

Elsewhere, the game’s latest update changed the Legendary Pokemon that is now available to take on in the game’s Legendary Arena. From now until July 20 at 10:59 p.m. PT, trainers who have completed at least Chapter 2 of the game’s main story will be able to take on Cobalion in the Legendary Arena. For more information about the Legendary Arena gameplay mode, check out our previous coverage.

Next, a Poison-type Training Event is available now through July 23 at 10:59 p.m. PT. You’ll need to have finished Chapter 1 of the main story to access it.

Finally, the sync pairs of Lucy & Seviper and Plumeria & Salazzle will be available to collect through the sync pair Spotlight Scout until July 23 at 10:59 p.m. PT. You can think of the Spotlight Scout feature like a mystery box. That is, you can spend in-game currency to recruit additional sync pairs to your team, but you won’t know which team(s) will show up before you spend the money. There’s no guarantee you’ll receive Lucy & Seviper or Plumeria & Salazzle even if you participate in the Spotlight Scout.

Pokemon Masters is available to download for free on iOS and Android devices. To learn more about the game check out our SuperParent First Look.
