Four Nintendo Labo Kits are Only $19.99 at Best Buy
This is a great chance to catch up on some family-friendly games.
If your family has yet to try Nintendo Labo, Nintendo’s Switch games that let you build and play with cardboard controllers called Toy-Con, Best Buy has a great deal for you.
As spotted by Engadget, the four Nintendo Labo Kits are only $19.99 as of this writing. That includes the Variety Kit (normally $69.99), the Robot Kit (normally $59.99), the Vehicle Kit (normally $69.99), and the VR Kit (normally $39.99).
As of this writing, none of the kits are available to purchase online, but you may be able to place a store pickup order if your local store(s) have the kits in stock. While Best Buy locations are currently closed to the public due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, you may be able to do an order for curbside pickup. Head over to Best Buy’s website to see what you can buy.
The first Nintendo Labo kits debuted in 2018. Each kit asks kids and families to follow on-screen instructions to build a variety of controllers out of cardboard (the cardboard you need is included in each kit). You can then place the Switch and its Joy-Con inside the controllers you’ve made to play games on the Switch itself.
While the Nintendo Labo kits (and their included games) are family-friendly, Nintendo previously told SuperParent that the virtual reality portion of the VR Kit should only be played by kids aged 7+.
