Sonic the Hedgehog Speeds Into Build-A-Bear Workshop
You can now create your own Sonic the Hedgehog plushie inspired by the new film.
Sonic the Hedgehog hits theaters on Friday, February 14. As with many kid-friendly movies, a variety of merchandise has been created for the film, and this includes an adorable new plushie being sold by Build-A-Bear Workshop.
The Sonic the Hedgehog stuffed animal can be purchased on its own for $29 on Build-A-Bear’s website, or you can choose from two different gift sets that include the Sonic plush and additional items at a higher price.
The Sonic the Hedgehog Collector’s Gift Set includes the Sonic stuffed animal, a gold ring “wristie” that can be put around Sonic’s wrist to make it look like he’s holding the ring, and a pair of branded Sonic the Hedgehog shoes. This Gift Set is priced at $46.
Meanwhile, the Sonic the Hedgehog Gift Set with Sound costs $45.50, and it includes the stuffed animal, the Sonic-branded shoes, and a “Sonic Movie Phrases” sound module that will be placed into the stuffed animal so it can make noise. The sound module can play five different phrases.
In addition to the standalone Sonic plush and these Sonic gift sets, Build-A-Bear is also selling two additional gift sets that include different stuffed animals (a bear and a dog) and Sonic-themed clothing. You can also buy the Sonic-themed clothing items on their own. For instance, this Sonic the Hedgehog Sleeper costs $13, while the Sonic the Hedgehog T-Shirt costs $8.
